Y. Elaine Rasmussen serves as a Technology Commercialization Advisory Board Member at the University of Minnesota, contributing to the transition of university research into marketable technologies. As a Board Member and Impact Investing Committee member of the Opus Group Foundation, Rasmussen supports philanthropic initiatives aligned with core values of innovation and community. Additionally, involvement with Nexus Community Partners includes co-chairing the Impact Investing Committee and establishing a new Impact Investing Policy Statement. As former CEO of Social Impact Now, Rasmussen led efforts in creating and enhancing social impact investment strategies. Previous roles include Board Member positions at Swift Foundation and the Association for Black Economic Power, as well as a Strategic Operations Consultant at Confluence Philanthropy. Education includes a Master's degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Marketing from Woodbury University.
