Giuseppe Ioppolo currently holds the position of Director of the Master in “Food, Quality and International Management” at the University of Messina since January 2022, while also serving as the Section Editor in Chief of the journal Sustainability for MDPI since January 2015. Additional contributions include serving as a Guest Editor for the Ordine degli Ingegneri di Messina since 2014, focusing on special issues related to industrial ecology. Giuseppe Ioppolo is a Full Professor of Lean Production & TQM and Associate Professor of "Resources and Environment" at the University of Messina, having previously worked as a Ricercatore within the institution from October 2011 to November 2016. Past roles encompass a Visiting Researcher at the Faculty of Science, Universiteit Leiden, and various consultancy positions. Giuseppe Ioppolo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Technology and Economics of Processes and Products for Environmental Protection and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from the University of Messina.
