Wendy Stops was appointed to Council on 1 January 2016 and was elected Deputy Chancellor on 1 January 2023. She is currently a Non-Executive Director at Coles Group Ltd, Blackmores Ltd and Fitted for Work, serving on and chairing various committees of each. She was previously a non-Executive Director of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Altium Ltd. In addition, she is currently the Chair of the Industry Advisory Board for the Melbourne Business School’s Centre for Business Analytics, a member of Chief Executive Women and sits on their Leaders Program Committee, a member of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Digital Experts Advisory Committee for the Digital Technology Taskforce and a member of the AICD’s Governance of Technology and Innovation Panel.
