Sonja Arndt is an experienced academic currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne since September 2019 and has held the position of Senior Lecturer at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education until February 2024. Prior to this, Sonja Arndt was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Waikato from February 2013 to February 2024 and at New Zealand Tertiary College from January 2002 to January 2013. A brief tenure as a tutor at The University of Auckland occurred in 2010. Sonja Arndt holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy of Education from the University of Waikato, earned between 2014 and 2017, and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of Auckland, completed between 2009 and 2012.
