Ghanishta Seeburrun is currently a PhD student at the University of Mauritius, having started this role in September 2023. Prior to this, Ghanishta served as a Biology and Environmental Management educator at Imperial College from January 2020 to December 2023. Ghanishta gained practical experience during an internship at The University of Hong Kong, focusing on stable isotope analysis in June 2019. Ghanishta also worked as a Conservation Biologist with The Mauritian Wildlife Foundation from August 2017 to February 2018, contributing to the Passerine Recovery Project for endemic species in Mauritius. An internship as a Biology educator at Mahatma Gandhi Secondary School Flacq was completed in 2015, teaching Cambridge International O-Level and A-Level Biology. Ghanishta holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from The University of Hong Kong (2018-2019) and a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Biology from the University of Mauritius (2014-2017).
