Rotem Israel-Fishelson is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Maryland since November 2022. Prior to this role, Rotem served as a Lecturer at the HIT - Holon Institute of Technology from October 2013 to November 2022, where responsibilities included teaching various courses in instructional technologies, course curriculum design, and initiating partnerships with industry and institutions. Rotem achieved recognition for teaching excellence in both 2015 and 2017 and led the "Kids 4 Kids" program in collaboration with IBM Israel, promoting dialogue among Jewish and Arab pupils. Earlier experience includes working as a Content Producer at Time To Know, managing the development of educational content for global elementary schools, and serving as the Head of Public Relations for the HIT Student Union, where social media and publication efforts were overseen. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Science Education from Tel Aviv University, a Master's Degree in Social Media and Web Technologies from Linnaeus University, and a BA in Instructional Design from the Holon Institute of Technology.
