Mike Curtis is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Manager of Information Technologies in the Facilities Department at the University of Maine since January 2012. With a strong background in systems administration, Mike has held key roles at several organizations, including systems administrator positions at Dahl Chase Diagnostic Services and Somic America Inc., where responsibilities included managing Cisco based WAN environments and developing custom applications. Prior experience includes information technologies management at ZF Lemforder Corp and network administration at Northwest Kidney Centers, where significant IT migrations and custom business applications were implemented. In addition to a robust IT career, Mike is also a guitarist for The Blast Addicts, a hard rock/pop/blues band active in Central and Downeast Maine. Mike holds an A.A.S in Dataprocessing and microcomputers from Seattle Central College and studied at the University of Washington from 1980 to 1984.
