Destiny Long serves as the Associate Strategic Sourcing Manager for the University of Maine System since June 2022, where responsibilities include facilitating procurement processes, identifying sourcing opportunities, and collaborating with campus and system office stakeholders. Previously, Destiny worked as a Procurement Analyst, successfully bringing $1 million of spend into compliance and validating cost savings through auditor-approved methodologies. Prior roles at the University of Maine at Farmington included New Student Orientation Programmer and Administrative Specialist II, where project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis were key components of the work. Destiny holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Columbia University and has pursued additional education through Trailhead by Salesforce and Coursera.
