Tom Hopkins is an experienced events professional with over 15 years in the industry, currently serving as the Head of Events & Hospitality at the University of London since January 2022. Previous roles include Event Manager at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where leadership was demonstrated in delivering large-scale outdoor events, and Senior Business Operations Manager at Thomson Davie. Prior experience encompasses a senior event management position at Alexandra Palace, overseeing a wide range of large concerts, televised sporting events, and exhibitions. Earlier roles include Account Manager at Freeman and Event Manager at the Business Design Centre Group. Tom co-founded Innersense, a popular music event, and also has experience in community development and recruitment across South and Central America. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Events Management from Leeds Beckett University, complemented by a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and a strong foundation in GCSEs.
