Anne Qualter retired in December 2022. Before retiring, they had a long career at the University of Liverpool, starting in 1989. During their time there, they held several leadership positions, including Director of Academic Development and Lifelong Learning, Head of Educational Development and E-Learning, and Head of the Department of Education. Anne also worked at Kings College in London from 1985 to 1989.
Anne Qualter completed their Bachelor of Education degree in Biology from Newman College, University of Birmingham, and King's College London from 1974 to 1979. Anne then pursued a PhD in Science Education at King's College London from 1980 to 1984.
