Kyle Fountain, JD, PHR, is a seasoned human resources professional currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist at the University of Iowa since September 2021. With extensive experience in recruitment and onboarding, Kyle held key positions at GEICO from November 2012 to September 2021, including Senior Hiring Specialist and Lead Hiring Specialist. Prior to that, Kyle practiced law as an Attorney at Allen, Vernon & Hoskins, LLC, and gained significant legal and managerial experience in roles such as Litigation and Bankruptcy Specialist at GE Capital and Clerk - Student Attorney at the Minnesota State Public Defender - Appellate Office. Kyle holds a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resource Standards Institute, along with degrees in Philosophy and Study of Religion from the University of Northern Iowa.
