James Koeppe has extensive experience in higher education administration and campus recreation, currently serving as the Director of Campus Recreation at the University of Illinois Springfield since June 2014. Prior to this role, James held the position of Associate Dean of Students and Director of Student Engagement at Georgetown College from July 1997 to June 2014. Additionally, James worked as a Resident Director and Campus Recreation staff for Semester At Sea / ISE in early 2001. James holds a Master of Education in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown College.
