Ralph Johnson is a research associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where roles include applying refactoring technology to supercomputing and discovering patterns of parallel programming. Ralph has significant teaching experience in object-oriented design, software engineering, and overseeing the senior projects program. Previous positions at the same university include coordinator of design activities and assistant professor from 1985 to 2003.
