Lladira Aguilar is an experienced social work professional with a strong background in program management and clinical services. Currently serving as Program Director and previously as Program Manager at the University of Houston since September 2019, Lladira has held various significant roles in notable organizations, including Interim President of the Board of Directors at Latino Social Workers of Greater Houston and PRN Social Worker at Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital. Lladira's expertise extends to providing trauma-informed care, case management for victims of human trafficking, and mental health support for children and families. Lladira holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Baylor University and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston-Downtown.
