Dr. Rasha Abdelsalam Elshenawy is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire's School of Life and Medical Sciences since November 2020, specializing in high-quality teaching and curriculum development, including conducting OSCE assessments. With extensive experience in antimicrobial stewardship, Dr. Elshenawy serves as the Chief Executive Officer of FADIC Clinical Pharmacy Development and Education, overseeing strategic and operational aspects, and is the Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Programme, focusing on improving antibiotic use and educating healthcare professionals. Past roles include an Antimicrobial Stewardship Research Fellow at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Research Contract at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr. Elshenawy has held leadership positions in Saudi Arabia and at Hospitals of Tanta University. Education includes a PhD in Antimicrobial Stewardship from the University of Hertfordshire, along with various degrees and certifications in pharmacy and healthcare quality.
