Charlotte Yates is an accomplished academic leader currently serving as the President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Guelph since August 2015, after previously holding the positions of Provost and Vice President (Academic). Before joining the University of Guelph, Charlotte Yates had an extensive career at McMaster University from 1987 to 2015, where roles included Dean of Social Sciences and Professor of Labour Studies and Political Science. Charlotte Yates holds a PhD in Political Science from Carleton University, an MA in Political Science from Queen's University, and a BA Honours in Political Science from The University of Winnipeg.
