Corine Frischknecht is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Geneva, where since April 2008, Corine has taught courses on Seismic Risk and GIS for risk assessment. In addition, Corine serves as the Scientific Coordinator for the postgraduate specialized certificate in the assessment and evaluation of geological and climate-related risk (CERG-C). Previously, from September 2009 to August 2013, Corine worked as a Lecturer and coordinator at the Geneva Centre for Education and Research in Humanitarian Action, overseeing the certificate of advanced studies in humanitarian action and co-coordinating the CAS in disaster management. Corine's academic background includes a PhD and MSc in Earth Sciences, as well as a certificate in geomatics and a certificate of advanced studies in e-learning project development from the University of Geneva. Research interests have focused on disaster management, humanitarian action, and environmental issues.
