Puja Thiel is an accomplished professional in the fields of sustainability, business development, and scientific research, currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Environmental Bioeconomy at the University of Exeter since June 2022. With a diverse background, Puja holds multiple roles including Board Member and Program Manager at Nelis Global, where engagement in global sustainability networks takes precedence. Puja is also a Global Facilitator and Event Organizer for Techstars Startup Weekend and has contributed to Future Agro Challenge as an Impact Maker. Previous experiences include roles as a Business Mentor at BioInnovation Days, Researcher at the University of Bergen, and various positions in molecular biology and biomedical sciences. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Exeter, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Bergen, and advanced degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Biochemical Technology from the University of Amsterdam and Delhi University, respectively.
