Matthew Eyre is an Associate Professor in Intelligent Mining at the University of Exeter, where experience includes roles as Senior Lecturer and Lecturer in Intelligent Mining. Prior to this, Matthew held positions as an Associate Research Fellow, focusing on remote sensing methodologies and laser scanning for rock mass characterization. In addition to academic roles, Matthew serves as Chief Executive Officer of KMO-Fleet, an innovative mining technology company. Previous experience includes working as a Senior Surveyor with 3D Mine Surveying International Ltd and a Maintenance Fitter at Pall Corporation. Matthew Eyre holds a Ph.D. in Mining and Mineral Engineering and a master's degree in Surveying and Environmental/Land Management from the University of Exeter, along with a BSc in Electronic Control Systems from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
