Michael Perch serves as the Program Director of The National Danish Lung Transplant program at Rigshospitalet since March 2011, overseeing the evaluation and selection of lung transplant candidates as well as post-transplant care. In addition to this role, Michael is a Clinical Associate Professor at Københavns Universitet, involved in teaching and examination in internal medicine, pulmonology, and transplantation. Michael's extensive medical experience includes positions as a Staff Specialist, Medical Director at Global Epi Consult, and various physician roles at multiple hospitals, focusing on respiratory and infectious diseases. Michael holds a Master's degree in Medicine from the University of Copenhagen and has engaged in clinical practice and research consulting throughout a distinguished career.
