Marie Caroline Vermund is currently a PhD Fellow at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, focusing on climate change literacy and food literacy in children, and also serves as an Industrial PhD Fellow at Haver til Maver. Previously, Marie held the position of Head of Section for Global Health at Indenrigs- og Sundhedsministeriet, overseeing international negotiations on health regulations and governance related to WHO, UN, and EU health initiatives. Experience includes teaching and coordinating global health courses and participating in various international health projects and meetings, including the Danish delegation to multiple WHO assemblies. Marie's academic background includes Master’s degrees from both the University of Copenhagen and Boston University in Public Health, along with advanced courses in global health diplomacy from renowned institutions.
