Tim Skillern has extensive experience in journalism and communications, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Advancement at the University of Colorado since January 2015, following roles as Director and Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for Advancement. Prior to this, Tim held positions at CBS Corporation, Treehouse Island Inc., Yahoo! Inc., Associated Content, the Rocky Mountain News, and the Daily Camera, contributing as a journalist, editor, and director across various media platforms. Skillern has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder.
