Ian Crook is an experienced educator and multimedia professional, currently serving as the Course Leader for BA(Hons) Filmmaking, BA(Hons) Film Production, and BA(Hons) Digital Visual Effects at the University of Central Lancashire since September 2004. Crook leads innovative programs, including a unique Feature Film Production module that allows second-year students to create a feature film from scratch. In addition, Crook holds the position of Interim Academic Head for the HBU-UCLan program at Hebei University in Baoding, China. Previously, Crook founded and directed Showme Multimedia Ltd, specializing in educational multimedia and child health information, and developed course materials as a Multimedia Developer at institutions such as the University of Nottingham and Bowden Associates. Crook holds a Master's degree in Multimedia Design and Production from Liverpool John Moores University and a BA(Hons) in Animation from West Surrey College of Art & Design.
