Gavin Sim is a seasoned academic at the University of Central Lancashire, currently serving as the Director of the UCLan Doctoral Training Centre for Industry Collaboration and as a Reader in Human Computer Interaction. With a tenure that began in 2005, Gavin has held various roles, including UCLan Doctoral Training Centre Lead and Senior Lecturer, while also leading the BSc Multimedia and Mobile Development degree. Teaching responsibilities span several modules, including Human Computer Interaction and Audio and Motion Graphics. Gavin is actively involved in supervising three PhD students and one EdD student and serves as an external examiner at the University of East London.
