Roberto Foa is a prominent academic and researcher specializing in democracy and governance. Currently serving as Director of the Centre for the Future of Democracy and University Lecturer at the University of Cambridge since January 2020, Foa previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Melbourne from August 2016 to December 2019. Foa's extensive experience also includes a decade-long role as a Researcher at The World Bank from 2006 to August 2016 and a brief tenure as the Peter Martin Fellow at The Financial Times in 2004. Foa holds a PhD in Government from Harvard University and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford.
