Shauna Farr-Jones serves as an Academic Coordinator III at the University of California, San Francisco's Department of Anesthesia and is also an instructor for the QB3 SBIR workshop as part of the "Start-up in a Box" team. With a strong background in grant writing and market research for biotechnology companies, Shauna has been the Principal at Grantsport since August 2001, providing strategic guidance on non-dilutive fundraising. Previous experience includes a Senior Writer role at BioCentury Publications, a Consultant position focused on grant writing, and a Post-Doctoral fellowship specializing in NMR Structural Biology at UCSF. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Tufts University, an M.Phil. from the University of Surrey, and multiple certificates in Finance and Marketing from UC Berkeley Extension.
