Fatiah Lawal is a Bachelor of Science student in Applied Mathematics at the University of California, Merced, with a diverse range of leadership and organizational experience. Currently serving as a Registered Clubs and Organization Intern at the university, Fatiah assists in planning events to enhance student engagement. As Conference Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers, Fatiah coordinates logistics for participation in regional and national conferences. In Alpha Kappa Psi, Fatiah holds multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Professional Development and Vice President of Finance, focusing on member growth and financial management. Additionally, Fatiah contributes to the ASUCM Campus Activities Board as Financial Manager and Traditional Proposals Coordinator, promoting campus events. Previous experience includes a role as a restaurant crew member at Chipotle and an internship with the Business Society at UC Merced. Fatiah's commitment to cultivating community involvement and professional development is evident throughout all positions held.
