Anil Menon currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Merced, since July 2023. Prior to this position, Menon was a Klarman Postdoctoral Fellow at Cornell University from September 2022 to June 2023 and completed a PhD in Political Science and Government at the University of Michigan from August 2015 to June 2022. Menon graduated with distinction from the MSc Economic History (Research) program at The London School of Economics and Political Science, receiving the Hunt Prize for best dissertation. Additionally, Menon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Middlebury College, graduating summa cum laude and being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Early career experiences include roles at Compass Lexecon as a Research Analyst and at Middlebury College as an Audio Visual Specialist and Digital Media Tutor.
