Ziyana Kotadia is an accomplished advocate and leader dedicated to promoting gender equity and social justice. As Chair of Safe Campus Coalition since June 2022, Ziyana manages a team while representing the organization in various national engagements and advocating for survivor-centric student recommendations. Ziyana also contributes to Plan International Canada as a Summer Associate for the Girls Belong Here Initiative and is an Empower Public Affairs Fellow at Navigator Ltd. Ziyana's research experience includes positions at the University of Victoria and Huron University, focusing on feminist and queer politics and relationships. Ziyana previously served as Vice-President of University Affairs for the University Students' Council at Western University, where significant impacts included a campaign for free menstrual products on campus. Ziyana holds a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Specialization in Global Gender Studies from Huron University and obtained a CORe Credential from Harvard Business School. Ziyana is committed to amplifying marginalized voices and advancing equity through impactful leadership roles and research endeavors.
