Darren Hedley is an experienced consultant specializing in program management and evaluation, with a focus on food and livelihood security, human rights and gender, child protection, and water and sanitation. With a career spanning over 30 years, Darren has led qualitative evaluations for USAID programs and managed various projects aimed at improving the well-being of at-risk children and youth in Central America. As an adjunct professor at the University of Calgary and former team manager for the Water Integrity Network, Darren has contributed to academic and global reports on integrity in urban water and sanitation. Previous roles include Regional Program Director for Save the Children International and Country Director for CARE International, where Darren implemented strategies for various development initiatives. Darren holds a PhD in Public Policy and advanced degrees in International Policy and International Development Studies.
