Amirhossein Ahmadi is a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, where responsibilities include working on Machine Learning Systems and various control and power systems courses. Amirhossein has previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and the University of Tabriz, and as a Mechatronics Specialist at Festo, gaining expertise in SCADA, PLC systems, and industrial instrumentation. Additional teaching experience includes instructing Industrial Control Systems at Amirkabir University of Technology. Amirhossein is currently an Evolve to Innovate Fellow at Innovate Calgary and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Software Engineering with a focus on Energy and Environment at the Schulich School of Engineering. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
