Samudra Dasgupta FHEA MRAeS is an academic faculty member in Aerospace at the University of Bristol, where involvement includes teaching and research since August 2023. Samudra also serves as an academic member at the Bristol Composites Institute and a visiting member at the National Composites Centre, focusing on composite structures and technologies. From March 2003 to May 2023, Samudra held various roles as a scientist at the Aeronautical Development Establishment, leading projects on composite airframe structures and UAV programs. Earlier experience includes a management trainee position at ESAB, dealing with new product development. Samudra holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Jadavpur University and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy at the University of Bristol.
