Mark Scheinberg is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in higher education and community service. Currently serving as an Executive Board Member at the University of Bridgeport and as President of Goodwin University since 1999, Scheinberg has played a pivotal role in transforming Goodwin into a nationally recognized nonprofit institution focused on diverse and underserved student populations. In addition to leadership positions on several boards, including the New England Board of Higher Education, Connecticut Conference of Independent Colleges, and Hartford Promise, Scheinberg has contributed to various organizations that enhance higher education and community engagement. Scheinberg's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Elementary Education from Vassar College, along with ongoing involvement with the University of Hartford and Dowling College.
