Waseem Ahmad serves as a University Council Member at the University of Bradford since September 2023 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of Islamic Relief Worldwide since July 2011, having held multiple leadership roles within the organization. Waseem is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Disasters Emergency Committee since May 2021 and previously served on the Board of Trustees for The Start Network from June 2019 to January 2022. Prior experience includes roles with Lepra, Tearfund, Oxfam, and various positions at Islamic Relief Worldwide, contributing significant expertise in program management and funding. Waseem holds a Master of Science in Project Planning and Management from the University of Bradford and a Master's in Economics from the University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpindi.
