Sven Ingmar Thies is a seasoned professional in the fields of design and art, currently serving as a Senior Artist at the University of Applied Arts Vienna since October 2012. As the Founder of both Kaitenart and Thies Design, established in January 2004 and January 1996 respectively, Sven has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and creativity throughout a diverse career. Previous experience includes a role as a Graphic Designer at Enterprise IG (now Brand Union) from September 1999 to September 2002, specializing in branding and logo design. Sven also participated in a two-year scholarship program with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) from September 1996 to October 1998, focusing on language and practical experience in Japan. An alumnus of Braunschweig University of Art, Sven holds a Diplom Designer degree in Graphic Design, obtained between 1989 and 1995.
