Lisa Bouwman is currently a PhD student at Universiteit van Amsterdam since February 2024, previously serving as Projectleider Valpreventie at GGD Fryslân from February 2023 to February 2024. Lisa has a diverse background in research, having completed master research projects at Syddansk Universitet and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, focusing on the effects of XPro1595 on stroke outcomes and repetitive grooming behavior in mice, respectively. Expertise includes behavioral tests, cryosectioning, immunohistochemistry, and data analysis in R. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Leadership Programme from the University of Groningen, along with a Bachelor's degree in Life Science & Technology. Additional experience includes roles in content creation and promotion for academic events and tutoring.
