Giovanni Sileno is an accomplished assistant professor and researcher specializing in the regulatory aspects of computational systems and artificial intelligence at the University of Amsterdam since August 2018. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at Télécom ParisTech, working on image interpretation and cognitive models, and a PhD candidacy at the University of Amsterdam focused on computational legal theory and multi-agent systems. Giovanni also contributed to the AGILE project at the Leibniz Center for Law, designed to enhance governance of legal information services. Earlier career roles include positions as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company, a software and hardware developer, and a musician in a band. Giovanni holds a Ph.D. in AI & Law and multiple master’s degrees in electronics and telecommunications engineering.
