Carin van der Wal is an experienced program manager with a focus on university campus development, currently serving as Programmamanager Universiteitskwartier at Universiteit van Amsterdam since July 2022. Previously, Carin held the position of Programmamanager & supervisor Campusontwikkeling at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from October 2007 to July 2022, where responsibilities included area and building development management. Prior to that role, Carin worked as a housing advisor for educational and healthcare projects at M3V and as a country manager and building manager for Médecins Sans Frontières in overseas missions. Carin's architectural expertise was established through earlier positions at Baneke van der Hoeven and Inbo. Carin holds a Master's degree in Building Engineering and Architecture from Delft University of Technology, along with additional leadership training at TIAS School for Business and Society and Sioo.
