Marta Martin Llaguno

Marta Martin Llaguno is an accomplished academic and media professional with extensive experience in communication and journalism. Currently serving as the Director of Cátedra Análisis y Prospectiva Audiovisual UA since June 2023, Marta also holds a position as a Catedrático universitario at Universidad de Alicante since December 2010. Their contributions to media advisory roles include serving as a Media Advisor for the European Union Naval Force - Operation ATALANTA since June 2022 and as a columnist for various publications including The Objective Media and Valencia Plaza. Marta's involvement in public service is highlighted by their role as a delegate for parliamentary, institutional, and public affairs at DISFAM and as a member of the Consell de la Ciutadania at Corporació Valenciana de Mitjans de Comunicació. Additionally, Marta is a mentor at ACOP - Asociación de Comunicación Política and collaborates on the informational program A la ventura at À Punt Mèdia. Marta holds a PhD in Communication, Public Opinion, and Journalism from the University of Navarra and has been teaching mass communication theory and advertising ethics at the University of Alicante since October 1997.
