Carlos Sabater currently serves as a Tenure Track faculty member at the University of Alicante since January 2019. Prior to this, Carlos held a postdoctoral researcher position at the Weizmann Institute of Science from April 2017 to December 2018, and at Leiden University from May 2013 to June 2016, focusing on atomic size conductors and topological insulators. Carlos began their academic journey at the University of Alicante as a Ph.D. student from January 2009 to May 2013, and previously worked as a Research Manager at MARMOLES VISEMAR SLU from September 2007 to November 2008, and at AIDICO in a laboratory focused on natural stone from June 2005 to September 2007. Carlos earned a Ph.D. in Electronics related to atomic size contacts at the University of Alicante and holds a degree in Physics with a specialization in Thermodynamics from the University of Valencia.
