Ana Martinez Vicente has over 15 years of experience in supporting research and innovation initiatives primarily within academic institutions. Currently serving as the National Contact Point for the European Research Council (ERC) Programme at the University of Alicante since July 2008, Ana provides assistance to Spanish institutions applying for ERC grants and also manages European projects with a focus on international funding and proposal preparation. Between 2010 and 2015, Ana acted as the university contact point for CLIMATE KIC, promoting climate-related projects. Previous roles include technology transfer expert at the Innovation Relay Centres (CENEMES) and Técnico OTRI at Universidad de Murcia, as well as a research fellow at CEST, demonstrating a strong background in technology commercialization and research collaboration. Ana holds a Master's degree in Innovation Management from Universidad de Murcia and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universitat d'Alacant.
