Ragib Hasan is a tenured full professor of Computer Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since July 2011, where Ragib also serves as the director of the Center for Cyber Security, focusing on research and education in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. Previous experience includes roles as an assistant and associate professor, as well as research positions at Johns Hopkins University, where Ragib contributed to trustworthy history in cloud systems. Additional roles include core member of the Bangladesh Open Source Network, Wikipedia administrator for Bengali and English, and various graduate research assistantships. Ragib Hasan's educational background includes a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
