Nicolaas Geurs currently serves as the Dean at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, beginning this role in June 2024. Prior to this position, Nicolaas Geurs was the Interim Dean of the UAB School of Dentistry from July 2023 to June 2024. Additionally, Nicolaas Geurs has been a Professor and Chair of the Department of Periodontology at UAB Dentistry since July 1995.
