Luciano G. Martelotto is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in cancer research and single-cell technologies. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide and Chief Technology Officer at Omniscope since November 2021, Martelotto previously held the position of Scientific Director at Harvard University and led the Single Cell Innovation Laboratory at the University of Melbourne. With a background that includes key roles at SOPHiA GENETICS and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Martelotto specialized in single-cell genomics and breast cancer biology. Early career experience includes postdoctoral work at Monash University and research roles focusing on molecular biology and biotechnology at various institutions.
