Matthew McGuire, PharmD, MS, BCPS, currently serves as the Pharmacy Manager for Supply Chain and Purchasing at University Hospitals since August 2022. Prior experience includes a managerial role in Pharmacy Operations at Cleveland Clinic Akron General from June 2018 to August 2022, and completion of PGY-1/2 Pharmacy Administration Residency at the same institution. Additional roles include Pharmacy Technician at Abington - Jefferson Health and Eric's Rx Shoppe, as well as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS/pharmacy. An early career position was as a Nursing Assistant/Unit Desk Clerk at Geisinger. Matthew McGuire holds a Master of Science in Health System Pharmacy Administration from Northeast Ohio Medical University, a Doctor of Pharmacy from Thomas Jefferson University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University.
