Lynn S. Miggins

Lynn is President and majority owner of KS Associates, Inc. Engineers + Surveyors. She is a Professional Engineer with 44 years of experience in all aspects of project development and oversees all of the firm’s operating units. Lynn possesses a diversified engineering and management background. She has served as Project Manager and/or Project Engineer for numerous public works projects and is intimately familiar with funding and issues related to municipal infrastructure and capital improvement projects.

Under Lynn’s leadership since 1987, KS has built a solid reputation for providing professional services on time, within budget, and with each client’s best interests in mind. The firm has built an impressive client portfolio, which includes municipalities, counties, townships and villages throughout Northeast Ohio; public agencies including the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, Cleveland Airport Systems, Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority; public and private institutions; and commercial and residential developers. Lynn previously served as the City Engineer for the Cites of Vermilion and North Ridgeville.

Lynn Miggins is the Chair of the UH Elyria Medical Center and Comprehensive Health Care of Ohio Boards of Directors. She is the National Director, past President and a Board Member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Ohio; Chair of the University of Akron Women in Engineering Advisory Council; serves as a council member; and is past President and member of the Vermillion Rotary Club and is currently serving as Chair of the Vermillion Rotary Charitable Fund, Inc. Board of Trustees.

Lynn has been consistently recognized for her business accomplishments. In 2016, she received a Leadership Award from WTS Northeast Ohio. She is the recipient of the 2015 Outstanding Civil Engineer of the Year Award from the Cleveland Section of American Society of Civil Engineers. In 2013, she received a “Women of Achievement” award from the Elyria YWCA for her leadership and professional accomplishments. In 2012, she was inducted into the Cleveland Engineering Society Hall of Fame – the highest award given to an individual by the Society. She has also been named one of the Top Ten Women Business Owners in Northeast Ohio by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and was included among Crain’s Cleveland Business magazine’s Women of Note.

Lynn earned a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton and a Master of Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
