Tim Spangler has an extensive background in the field of atmospheric science and education, with a career spanning several decades. Tim served as Program Director at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) from 1990 until retirement in February 2013, focusing on national and international programs in continuing education for environmental sciences. Prior experience includes tenure as an Associate Professor at Northern Illinois University, where instruction was provided to both undergraduate and graduate students in meteorology. Tim also held managerial roles at Westec Services, successfully growing the air pollution division, and served as Vice President at North American Weather Consultants, overseeing significant air quality projects. Tim holds a PhD in Biometeorology from Utah State University, an MS in Atmospheric Science from the University of Wyoming, and a BS in Meteorology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
