Ryan May is an experienced professional in the field of meteorology with a robust academic background, including a PhD, MS, and BS from the University of Oklahoma. Currently serving as the Unidata Deputy Director at UCAR since January 2014, Ryan is involved in strategic planning and manages Unidata's summer internship program. Prior to this role, Ryan worked as a Software Engineer at Unidata, leading the Python team for MetPy and siphon, providing user support, and conducting training workshops. Earlier experience includes software development for weather radar systems at Enterprise Electronics Corporation from May 2009 to December 2013.
