Cece Hedrick is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing scientific software and weather data visualization tools. Currently at UCAR, Cece focuses on infrastructure development, including designing repository strategies, automating packaging and releases, integrating continuous testing with Travis CI, and creating web services for weather modeling. Prior roles include working at the Air Force Weather Agency, integrating live space weather data feeds, enhancing space weather models, and leading upgrade plans for prediction products. Cece has also contributed to various software development projects at CSG International and the First National Bank of Omaha, alongside research experience in human-computer interaction at the University of Nebraska. Cece holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics/Astrophysics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Junior Year Abroad degree in Physics and Applied Math from the University of Cambridge.
