Lynette Plett currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Mihcet Meskanawah Teaching and Learning at the University College of the North, a position held since May 2019, and has also taken on the role of Interim Vice President for Academic and Research. Prior to this, Lynette Plett was involved with the Government of Manitoba from September 2008 to May 2019, where notable roles included Senior Executive Director of Industry, Training and Employment Services and Executive Director at Adult Learning and Literacy. Lynette Plett holds a PhD in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, obtained between 2000 and 2006, as well as a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Manitoba.
